ABOUT ARUN GODWIN PATEL

I help businesses turn ideas into real products and real products into scalable platforms - using AI, full-stack engineering and a decade of building things that actually work.As CTO and Director of Halo, I lead a team that delivers human-centred AI strategy and end-to-end platform builds for organisations of all sizes. We’ve directed 100+ technical builds across 4 continents, launched platforms to millions of users, and built AI agent frameworks that have saved enterprise clients £1m+ in operational costs. Our philosophy is simple: automate the boring stuff so people can do more of what they love.Alongside Halo, I co-founded audico - a Gen AI voice platform now serving thousands of users across hundreds of thousands of voice requests, with enterprise partners including Amazon, Elavon, Oracle and Fujitsu. We built the world’s first voice-enabled payment system (nominated for the Card & Payment Award 2024), were nominated for the Tech4Good Award for our work with the Royal Air Forces Association supporting isolated veterans, and were featured by Amazon in their global Alexa Innovator Series reaching millions worldwide.I also work as a Fractional CTO for early-stage startups, helping founders go from concept to revenue. Recent engagements have supported seed rounds totalling over £2.5m and platforms reaching over users.My current technical focus spans AI (voice, computer vision, LLMs, agents, reinforcement learning, small language models, classical ML), full-stack development (deployment, CI/CD, observability, security, scale) and automation - always with an emphasis on building for small and medium-sized businesses.Beyond building, I’m a STEM Ambassador of 10+ years, a guest lecturer at Loughborough, Brunel and Surrey universities, and I’m recognised by Upwork as Expert-Vetted (Top 1%) and featured as a leading AI engineer globally.Always happy to chat.
