I am leading the cloud transformation and platform modernization strategy at BlueMatrix, driving the migration of a complex global technology ecosystem from on-premise infrastructure to AWS while building a scalable cloud platform capable of supporting future acquisitions and global growth.My role focuses on enterprise architecture, large-scale cloud migration, platform engineering, and emerging technology adoption, enabling engineering teams.Key Responsibilities & Achievements- Leading the enterprise cloud transformation of BlueMatrix, migrating a globally distributed on-premise platform across four data centers to AWS using Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud architecture practices- Designing and implementing the BlueMatrix cloud platform architecture, including multi-account AWS landing zones, hub-and-spoke networking, and automated account provisioning integrated with AWS AFT- Establishing a progressive cloud migration strategy while supporting hybrid on-premise and cloud environments- Reducing operational complexity by adopting AWS managed services to replace self-managed infrastructure- Building and leading a cross-regional cloud engineering organization, combining internal engineers with strategic vendor teams across North America, Europe, and Asia- Integrating multiple acquired platforms into the cloud strategy, including StreetContext, RANOS, and RMS Partners- Leading the BlueMatrix data platform implementation on Snowflake and AWS, including ingestion pipelines and governance workflows- Establishing automated data migration pipelines using AWS DMS and custom frameworks to support progressive customer migration- Driving DevOps modernization, evolving existing Ansible automation into a hybrid delivery model supporting both on-premise and AWS environments- Partnering with AWS and strategic vendors to align architecture, governance, and modernization initiatives with BlueMatrix’s long-term platform strategy.
