ABOUT ALEXANDER GIRSA
A corporate finance professional with over fifteen years of deals advisory experience with private equity, venture capital, investment banking and accounting firms. Over the course of my career, I took roles that allowed me to work on different sides (sell-side, buy-side) and focus on different steps (M&A lead advisor, due diligence, business valuation) of the deal execution process. In my current role at SDTC, I am responsible for performing due diligence on potential investments and monitoring the performance of portfolio companies in the clean tech sector. My project portfolio in the old economy sector consists of companies in construction materials and services, manufacturing, agricultural, consumer goods, packing, retail, restaurants, automotive, healthcare, energy, real estate, mining, and software development industries. Outside of work, I am a father and outdoor enthusiast. I am preparing to write my final Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) exams.
