ABOUT STEPHEN MCAINSH
I\'m the founder of Calba and an agile coach/trainer. I started Lean Agile Edinburgh in 2013, a monthly meetup group. I strongly believe in the agile value of people before process and tools. A lot of this has been influenced from my past experience as a personal development leader in the voluntary sector, with Venture Scotland and Raleigh International (formerly Operation Raleigh), four overseas expeditions.I started my professional career as a software engineer in 1980s with Hewlett-Packard who were pioneering new manufacturing techniques, many of which we term as agile today. I then moved into process improvement and change management, working with organisations across Europe, Japan and US.
