A technical role providing banking expertise for a Fintech at the start-up stage. This includes both project and operational delivery for payment activities at the bank.Successfully led key strategic projects including: joining the Bank of England Sterling Monetary Framework, applying for FPS direct membership, and onboarding three deposit aggregators for the bank, which generated over £200m in deposits to increase revenue.Coordinated colleagues from across the bank to manage a more than increase in payment activity. This involved introducing new processes and controls as well as soft-skills to coach others to move towards more professional ways of working.Played a key advisory role by providing payments expertise in the build of new payment products including Direct FPS, Bacs, CHAPs, regulatory reporting and savings products. Provided advice on payment regulations, including the Payment Services Directive, APP Fraud, strong-customer-authentication, SWIFT standards, and Consumer Duty.Due to the nature of startup, I am involved in other activities such as client onboarding, commercial discussions, operational resilience, and building new products.Gained insight and learning from the start-up environment, including funding from venture capitalists, growing a business, and also working in a technology firm.
