Hi, I’m Shikhar Agarwal. I currently lead a team of engineers building customer-facing security and CDN platform capabilities on Akamai’s distributed systems.Over the past several years, my scope has expanded from backend development into people leadership and delivery ownership. I manage and mentor engineers, drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Architecture, and QA, and take accountability for designing and delivering scalable, secure workflows that simplify customer onboarding and improve platform reliability.I invest heavily in coaching and developing engineers, supporting growth from onboarding through promotion readiness.I’m particularly interested in simplifying complex distributed systems, improving self-service customer experiences, and building high-performing teams that can execute predictably under tight timelines.
