ABOUT AGALBY MOREL

I am a New York City native and a first-generation student currently in my third year at Boston College, where I am majoring in Economics. As of the summer of 2023, I am an investment analyst for Fisher Lynch Capital in their Boston office.With my experience as an equity research analyst educational trainee for BLK, I have developed a strong foundation in equity research, financial analysis, and valuation techniques. I have hands-on experience using tools like Excel and financial databases to create financial models for discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and calculate key valuation metrics.Having excelled in the educational program, I was promoted to the role of co-Sponsorship Chair on the executive board. In this position, I am responsible for securing financial support, managing sponsorships, and enhancing engagement with BLK. Through this role, I have gained a deep understanding of various areas within the financial industry, honed my ability to assess the financial viability of sponsorship opportunities, negotiate terms, and track financial transactions.In addition to my work at BLK, I serve as the Finance Coordinator for the Undergraduate Government at Boston College, specifically under the Ahana+ Leadership Council. Furthermore, I have taken the initiative to establish Black Wall Street, which will be the first Black business club at Boston College, set to launch in the fall of 2023.Overall, I am driven and passionate about finance, demonstrated through my academic pursuits, professional experience, and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment in the financial industry. During my leisure time, I enjoy practicing yoga, exploring new recipes for cooking and baking, and finding inspiration from podcasts and books.
