ABOUT AFZAL CHAUDHARI
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at Apotex, I perform preventive and corrective maintenance, instrument calibrations, generator runs and checks, and troubleshoot the panel and motor wiring. I also use CMMS, SAP, GMP, and PDTs to follow work orders and report on the operations. I am a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for learning new technologies. I have a bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering from Gujarat Technological University, and a diploma in electrical engineering from the same institution. I also have a diploma of education in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering from Centennial College. I have a certification as an electrical supervisor issued by the Government of Gujarat, and other certifications in fall protection and accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities act issued by OSG. Before joining Apotex, I worked as an electrical technician at Metro Compactor Service, where I installed, maintained, and repaired compactors and balers. I also worked as a PLC programmer and automation engineer at MEGA SWITCHGEAR in India, where I designed, programmed, and tested PLC-based systems for various industrial applications. I have extensive knowledge and experience in electronics, automation processes, robots, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), especially ControlLogix. I am always eager to apply my skills and expertise to improve the efficiency and quality of the projects I work on.
