Provide daily support and supervision to children and youth with developmental, behavioural, and emotional challenges in a group home setting.Implement individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), promote life skills, and assist residents in achieving personal goals and independence.Administer medication, complete documentation and incident reports, and ensure safety protocols are followed.Use crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies including UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour) techniques.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social workers, clinicians, and educational staff to support client progress and well-being.Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment through empathy, structure, and consistency.
