About Ashley Forbes Armstrong

Ashley, an organizational psychologist, has worked in the technology, education, non-profit, and retail sectors. Ashley assists individuals, teams, and organizations in understanding their processes and developing more effective ways to operate. Ashley’s experience includes facilitation, program design and execution, training design and delivery, data collection and analysis, and coaching. Currently, Ashley works at Salesforce, managing a number of leadership development programs, designing and facilitating workshops, partnering with vendors to execute on our development strategy, coaching, and driving DEI initiatives.Prior to Salesforce, Ashley worked at StubHub. She designed and launched a revised on-boarding program, and worked with key stakeholders to develop a learning and development model and strategy. In this role, Ashley assessed employee and manager development needs, organized manager development sessions, coordinated with external vendors for trainings, and facilitated meetings and off-sites.Previously, Ashley worked with a global digital media company to build an on-boarding program. In addition to providing data-based recommendations, she also designed and implemented a revised on-boarding process that reflected the company’s culture and values. In a second project, Ashley designed, launched, analyzed, and presented back findings from a customized employee survey. Ashley has also worked with Stanford University to collect and analyze data from interviews, focus groups, and surveys in order to provide Stanford with an accurate picture of their on-boarding needs and recommendations for moving forward. Stanford then used those recommendations to begin designing their on-boarding program.Ashley has a PhD in Organizational Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. She graduated from Dominican University of California with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Communications. Her research interests and expertise include: diversity, self-as-instrument, presentation of self, development, organization culture and change.
