About Alec Myers
From a young age, I always have had a passion for math and science. This passion is what led me to study Chemical Engineering at Penn State University. My love for STEM and various related fields has grown over my experiences as a student and early career positions.They have taught me a great deal about how to succeed as a professional as well as be the best person I can be. I enjoy technical problem solving, hands on engineering and design work. I prefer to be out in the field as much as possible, fixing problems and improving processes rather than in my office working on paperwork. I believe that dreaming big is best the way to make it big. I want to be the person that develops the perfect alternative fuel, subverts climate change or curbs problems arising from rapid population growth. Anything is possible with some applied science and a lot of hard work!
