Versatile epidemiologist with extensive training in epidemiologic methods, study design, vaccine effectiveness studies, and outcomes research and a strong foundation in conducting research projects that address timely public health issues. Research projects have primarily focused on vaccine safety and effectiveness for herpes zoster, COVID-19, influenza, and on infectious diseases such as hepatitis B virus and c diff. PhD research utilized various secondary datasets and registries to examine gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and chronic kidney disease. Currently, interested in epidemiology opportunities focusing on vaccine safety and effectiveness, chronic disease epidemiology, drug development or outcomes research that will generate meaningful insights that can inform policy and practice and improve lives.
