ABOUT AFFAN ASIM
I’m Affan, a Business Management student with a minor in Information Systems studying at the University of Hertfordshire. Currently I\'m working as an independent contractor as a BI Analyst at Allied Paints with a goal of completing my PL 300 examMy academic path started back in Pakistan at the Lahore School of Economics, where I studied double majors in Finance and Marketing for 2 years, till I decided to challenge myself and got a successful credit transfer here at Herts Business SchoolWhile studying at LSE, I intered at Allied Paint Industries, Ibrahim Fibers Limited and M.R Consultants where I primarily worked in Sales and Marketing all the while rotating from each companys different departments.These rotations: from HR and Sales to Accounting and Manufacturing taught me how different functions connect to create business value.At the same time, I worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at LSE, managing classrooms, supporting faculty research, and handling data-driven projects. Alongside, I took on freelance work as a direct response copywriter, where I helped businesses with cold outreach, website content, and marketing research sharpening my ability to combine clear messaging with measurable results.I moved to Herts to challenge myself, and to deepen my skillset in information systems and analytics, adding technical knowledge to my business and marketing foundation.
