About Affan Ahmad

I am an all-time curious person who is always ready to learn new things. If I get to know that there is a new tech that came into the market, I try to learn it and start working around it.Basically, I am a Civil Engineer In the last year of my B. Tech I got to work on a project, I had no laptop, so I borrowed it from one of my friends for two months, I learned the basics of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint during that period of time and also worked on STAAD Pro software, that was my first encounter with the computers, I learned some good shortcuts which amazed me and my friends. That is when I realized my fascination for computers and techs. Still, I was not sure if this would work for me but one thing of which I was sure of was that civil engineering won’t work.After completing my B Tech I started running an institute with my friends and worked as a teacher(Math, Science up to higher secondary level), and also taught at a nearby school and all of sudden, the COVID pandemic broke out followed by lockdown, we had no other option but to close our institute. Then I started exploring more options, I collected money, and purchased my first laptop on the 8th of September 2021, this is where the journey began, I started learning the basics of the computer again, like MS-Word, MS-Excel, and more, and started learning more about the techs, I got some online courses from Udemy and Simplilearn too, based on my search history, I got an advertisement on Instagram about Masai School and I read about it, I read again and again, the more I read, the more I got amazed, I made more research about the curriculum and Masai school itself. Once, I got sure, I enrolled myself in it, currently, I learned MERN Stack at Masai School and the techs I have learned till now are HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Chakra-ui, Material-Ui, styled components, MongoDb, Node.js, and Express.js and ready to work now.I have also worked on some good projects with my team which are,Nykaa clone, Myntra clone, NykaaMan clone, and Tata 1mg clone, and Now I have hours of coding experience and implementation. I am also a good listener and this quality of mine has added up two benefits for mei) makes me a person who has more than one perspective on a topic, thus making me bias-free, and,ii) I always try to come up with an optimized solution for every problem due to having a broader perspective.My other interests are reading about astrophysics, writing on social issues, writing poetry in Hindi-Urdu, and I also love cooking delicious foods.
