ABOUT AESHAH RANGANATHAN

Currently, I am an Audit Associate in Deloitte UK within the Public Audit group and have worked with clients from various backgrounds and industries such as B2B, B2C, Infrastructure and Natural Resources. I work with an amazing team of people who inspire me to expand my knowledge and skill, demonstrate independence and integrity and work towards improved quality in everything I do. Alongside my employment, I am currently working towards my Chartered Accountancy qualification with ICAS and have passed my first level (Test of Competence) of examinations and will complete my second level by September 2020. I was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to the UK when I was 19 to further my education in the field of Accountancy and Finance. I graduated from the University of Bristol in summer 2019 with a First Class Honors in Accounting and Finance. During my time in university, I completed a summer internship programme with Deloitte UK in Audit and Assurance for 3 weeks and gained insight into the world of auditing and what it entails. During my penultimate year in university, I was offered a placement opportunity at a Chartered Accountancy practice in Bristol, Milsted Langdon LLP. I worked as an Accounting Assistant for 12 months and was responsible for the financial accounting preparation of limited companies, self-assessment tax returns for individual, partners and companies and audit fieldwork.
