About Lydia Chen
Passionate about justice, self-empowerment, and the power of knowledge, I’m driven by the belief that everyone should have the tools to stand up for themselves—especially when external help might not be available. Law is my path to gaining that knowledge and using it to empower others. Currently studying MEJO AD/PR, I’ve worked in diverse environments—from product management at Sinovoice AI to guiding makers at BeAM Makerspace and providing customer service at Lenoir Dining Hall and Carolina Performing Arts. Each role has helped me develop a strong foundation in problem-solving, adaptability, and communication, all of which I’m eager to apply in law school. While law is my primary focus, my ultimate dream is to combine my legal knowledge with my love for fashion. One day, I plan to launch a business designing custom wedding gowns, navigating everything from contracts to intellectual property with the same attention to detail that I bring to everything I do.
