ABOUT HANS-JÜRGEN COMMERELL
Hans-Jürgen Commerell is a photographer, curator and publisher, who has been co-director of the Aedes Architecture Forum, in partnership with Kristin Feireiss since 1994. In 2009, together with Feireiss, he conceptualised and established the Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory, an international (networking and) operating cultural platform focusing on innovation in global urbanism with its reciprocal socio-economic and ecological affects. Commerell\'s overarching mission is to foster connections among individuals from diverse realms, including the industrial sector, research, academia, neighbors, and students, with the aim of collaboratively addressing complex societal phenomena and challenges.
