ABOUT ADWAITH BIJU ANEESCIA

Growing up in a military-style school that aimed to Mold future officers, I underwent rigorous training at the Sainik School Kazhakootam, for seven years. Achieving an All-India Rank of 91 in the NDA/Naval Academy (NDA-139) exam, I aspired to be a Fighter Pilot, but destiny had different plans. Intrigued by Open AI Five defeating Dota 2 champions, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. To engage and immerse in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, I joined the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) during my freshman year. Starting as a volunteer, I worked my way up to Assistant Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in my second year and continued as the CTO for consecutive two years. I have hosted, organised and volunteered for various events which included seminars, expert talks, awareness sessions, and student outreach programs for schools. I was also selected to be a volunteer for TEDx Thiruvananthapuram, which catered to my area of interest. Beyond daily theory classes, my curiosity led me to an internship at the Computer Society of India (CSI) on Python and Software Testing. This experience, along with my interest in the latest technology trends, laid the foundation for my final-year project. Titled \"Lucid: A deep emotion classifier for enhanced depression detection,\" it received recognition for its contribution to mental health awareness. Post-graduation, I embarked on a professional journey at Ernst & Young (EY) as a Data Analyst. In the Data & Analytics (DnA) team, I honed my skills, working on diverse projects involving databases like SQL, SQL Server and PostgreSQL, Cloud Service Platforms such as Azure and mostly on developing and gathering insights into the client data by generating visuals in the form of reports using Power Bi. Power BI stands out as my forte, propelling my growth and success as a Data Analyst. I\'ve garnered recognition for my team by delivering reports embedded with heightened security features. This achievement came through the meticulous implementation of Row-Level and Column-Level Security, tailoring access controls for individual users according to a precisely defined Access Control List. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree at the esteemed RWTH Business School under RWTH Aachen University, specializing in Data Analytics and Decision Science, whilst working part-time as a Werkstudent at Deloitte’s Risk and Reputation team as a Risk Analyst.
