Prashant is diligent and well read lawyer with acute legal acumen and professional commitment. Prashant specialises in civil, taxation and corporate litigation as well as white collar crime. His role typically involves drawing up litigation strategy, leading a team of litigators, drafting, guiding and doing research, briefing Senior Counsels and leading arguments for his clients. He has rich experience of appearing before the High Court and all the district courts of Delhi. In addition to the Delhi High Court, Prashant routinely appears before the NCLT, NCLAT, NCDRC and other tribunals situated in Delhi. Prashant has worked with Standing Counsel for Income Tax Department and represented the Income Tax Department in various matters before Delhi High Court, NCLT and NCLAT. After completing his LL.M. from Delhi University, Prashant has also worked as visiting lecturer at Law centre -1, faculty of Law, Delhi University. Prashant has previously worked with various law firms based in Delhi including J & Associates, Vox Juris, Maniktala & Associates where he handled the panel work of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co, TATA AIA Insurance Co, Future Generali Life Insurance Co. and Aviva Life insurance Co. before various Forums/NCDRC along with trial in civil disputes viz. recovery, service, property matters before Delhi High Court and various District Courts of Delhi.
