About Zaryab Jamal Rizvi
I am a first-generation lawyer with over 20 years of standing at the Bar, regularly appearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Tribunals, and District Courts across India. As the Founding Partner of LCZF (Law Firm), I have built a practice trusted by corporates, statutory authorities, and individuals, known for its strategy, precision, and results.My work spans a wide range of practice areas, Constitutional, Corporate and Commercial Law, Consumer, Civil & Criminal Litigation, Banking & Finance, Securities & Exchanges, and ADR. Over the years, I have represented some of India’s most respected institutions and companies across diverse sectors, including energy, automobiles, FMCG, and technology. Within this diversity, I have also developed significant experience in the securities and financial services space, having represented many of the country’s leading stockbrokers and investment houses in complex disputes and regulatory matters. This experience has strengthened my litigation practice while keeping it firmly anchored in broader commercial and cross-sector disputes.I believe that law is both a profession and a responsibility. For this reason, I have consciously devoted close to 40% of my professional time to pro bono representations, particularly through my work with the Legal Services Authorities. These engagements, including appearances for vulnerable litigants, reflect a commitment to access to justice, while continuing alongside my mainstream corporate and commercial practice.In addition to my litigation practice, I serve in various public and professional roles: as Amicus Curiae and Mediator with the Hon’ble NCDRC, Mediator with the Hon’ble SCDRC, Delhi, Board Member of the U.P. Shia Central Waqf Board, and Board Member of the Industrial Advisory Board of Geeta Institute of Law. I also lecture on Banking Laws at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, contributing to the training of the next generation of lawyers.My contributions have been recognised with the Young Achiever in Law Award (2018) and the Lex Falcon Global Award (Dubai, 2022).At the core, my philosophy remains simple: to serve clients with excellence, uphold the dignity of the profession, and ensure that law continues to be a tool for justice and progress.
