Objectives: Achieve & surpass targeted debt recovery goals set for the region.Build & lead a high-performing debt collection team.Ensure all debt collection activities comply with legal & regulatory requirements.Effectively negotiate with debtors while maintaining positive relationships.Provide accurate & timely reporting on collection performance.Identify & implement process enhancements to optimize debt collection efficiency.Preserve customer relationships while effectively managing debt recovery.Enhance the skills and knowledge of the collection team.Manage the collection department budget effectively.Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.Monitor and analyze collection performance against set targets.Continuously identify areas for improvement in the collection process.Recruit, train, and mentor collection staff.Conduct regular reviews of outstanding accounts and prioritize collections efforts.Analyze trends in customer payment behavior & make recommendations for process improvements.Stay updated on relevant debt collection laws and regulations.Collaborate with legal teams when necessary.Train team members on negotiation techniques.Resolve escalated customer issues & disputes.Collaborate with sales & customer service teams to prevent future issues.Generate & analyze reports on collection metrics.Present findings & recommendations to senior management.Utilize data to identify trends & areas for improvement.Regularly review & refine collection processes.Implement new technologies or tools to enhance collection efforts.Monitor industry best practices & incorporate relevant changes.Collaborate with customer service teams to enhance the overall customer experience.Conduct training sessions on collection techniques & compliance.Identify skill gaps & develop training programs to address them.Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
