ABOUT YASH LOTLIKAR

Advocate Yash Jitendra Lotlikar is a practising advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and based in Mumbai. He is engaged in active legal practice and undertakes litigation, advisory, and allied legal work before competent courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities, subject to jurisdiction. His principal areas of practice include Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Technology Law. He regularly undertakes criminal trials, anticipatory and regular bail applications, criminal complaints, FIR-related proceedings, revisions, quashing petitions, criminal appeals, and allied proceedings, with his criminal practice being guided by constitutional principles, procedural due process, and the protection of personal liberty. In the field of Intellectual Property Rights, he holds a valid Intellectual Property Attorney Code authorising him to act, file, appear, and conduct proceedings relating to Trademarks, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, and Geographical Indications before competent authorities, and his practice includes registration, prosecution, oppositions, rectifications, renewals, enforcement actions, infringement proceedings, and connected civil and criminal litigation, along with advisory services on intellectual property management, commercialisation, and regulatory compliance. In Technology Law, he advises and represents clients on matters relating to information technology law, cyber offences, data protection and privacy, intermediary liability, digital evidence, online platform compliance, and legal issues arising from emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. In addition, he undertakes litigation and advisory work in civil, commercial, and allied areas of law. He holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and a B.L.S./LL.B. degree from the University of Mumbai, along with specialised academic training in intellectual property law, cyber law, data protection law, arbitration, mediation, money laundering and crypto assets, and constitutional law. He regularly appears and practises before the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay, including its benches, the Original Side of the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay, the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Courts, and other competent forums, and his professional approach is anchored in ethical advocacy, procedural discipline, and client-focused legal representation.
