ABOUT ADV. ASTHA VERMA

I am Astha Verma, a dedicated law graduate (B.A.LL.B. Hons.) from Sadanlal Savaldas Khanna Girl’s Degree College, Allahabad University, currently enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. With strong academic credentials and certifications in Arbitration Law and Practice and Non-Disclosure Agreements (both with A+ grade from Le Droit), I have combined classroom learning with rich, hands-on legal experience. Over the years, I have interned at some of the country’s most prestigious legal institutions, including the Supreme Court of India, Ministry of Law and Justice, High Courts, District Courts, and top law firms in Delhi. My internship experience has shaped me into a well-rounded legal professional, skilled in drafting legal documents, case briefs, affidavits, writs, and appeals, as well as conducting in-depth legal research and case analysis across CAT, NCLT, High Court, District Courts, and the Supreme Court. I am particularly passionate about constitutional and criminal law, civil matters such as property and contracts, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms like mediation and arbitration. I have also been active in academic research, having published multiple articles in The Indian Journal for Research in Law and Management and authored a research paper in the International Journal for Legal Research and Analysis. I have presented research papers at prominent national conferences organized by Karnataka State Law University, the National Commission for Women, and other reputed bodies. Beyond my legal work, I am an NCC ‘B’ certificate holder, a former para-legal volunteer with the District Legal Service Authority, and an enthusiastic participant in extracurricular activities like national-level quiz competitions, volleyball tournaments, and university-level poster competitions. Technically, I am proficient in legal research tools such as SCC Online, Manu Patra, Live Law, and Bar & Bench, as well as Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. With a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and advocacy, I am eager to bring my skills, discipline, and passion for justice into meaningful legal practice, contributing effectively to the profession and making a positive impact on society.
