   During my internship at the Bioinformatics Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), I have been actively involved in cancer research, specifically focusing on identifying therapeutic targets for Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). This role has allowed me to apply advanced bioinformatics techniques, particularly in the identification of small molecules that may serve as potential drug candidates. I have gained hands-on experience using molecular docking and virtual screening tools such as AutoDock, AutoDock Vina, GLIDE, Discovery Studio, and PyMOL, predicting interactions between small molecules and cancer-related proteins. Additionally, I have been deeply involved in analyzing RNA-Seq and other high-throughput sequencing data to uncover gene expression patterns associated with cancer progression. My work in virtual screening and molecular modeling has sharpened my skills in conducting ligand-based and structure-based in silico experiments, accelerating drug discovery efforts. Through this experience, I have honed my proficiency in Python and R, developing custom scripts for data analysis, and creating publication-quality visualizations to support ongoing cancer research. This internship has significantly strengthened my ability to contribute to the field of bioinformatics and computational drug discovery.
