ABOUT ADRIENN LESTYAN
Originally from Budapest, but having an internationally expanded interest, over the last 5 years I have traveled around the world, I lived and worked in several cities such as Berlin, Vienna, Aalborg, Lodz, Budapest, and Montréal. I graduated from three universities with a MA degree in Media Arts Cultures as part of the Erasmus Mundus Excellence program. In addition, I am as well trained as a Yoga instructor. Rooting in my interest for human bodies, in my research I investigate the aspects of human perception in the field of new media arts, for instance contemplating on how a focused engagement of a variety of senses leads us to discover new ways for the construction of our reality and therefore, for an altered perception beyond the ordinary limits. I have particular interest in new media arts, art & tech, curating, artistic festivals, VR experiments, and immersive installations engaging the entirety of human body, and our senses. I am a skilled writer, which is a practice that I wish to expand professionally to art and media related content creation as well. Flexibility, perseverance and spirit of adventure describe me well.
