As a high achiever (okay, over-achiever most of my life), I thrived as a degreed mechanical engineer and a corporate leader at Ford Motor Company and Deloitte Tax, solving complex problems and driving results. But after years of relentless pursuit, I hit the deep depths of burnout and realized my true passion wasn’t in the numbers and achievements—it was in PEOPLE.Burnout was my turning point. Since 1960, Wedgwood Christian Services has been dedicated to boldly taking on the toughest mental health and behavioral health problems in West Michigan. Wedgwood serves children, teens, families, and adults through residential care, counseling services, and community programs. The goal is to support and help restore the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual well-being of those who rely on Wedgwood.
