I’ve excelled in the workforce. I know my strengths. I genuinely love getting to know people, and people like me. I’m excited for my next big thing. My professional background is in communications, but my superpower has always been people. My friends and colleagues have told me that I’m able to listen to others in a way that enables me to draw out the points that matter, with concomitant action steps. For that reason, I recently went back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Freshly armed with that degree, I now have the professional and personal skills necessary to navigate the challenge that is internal communications with the empathy, professionalism and sensitivity it requires.
