ABOUT ADRIENNE LAI
I\'m Adrienne Lai, a first year graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT. I am a researcher in the Varanasi Lab, which specializes in applying thermofluids engineering to create interfacial solutions to a variety of problem spaces including biology, carbon capture, cooling systems, and more! My previous experience includes Skytree R&D Team Intern, Starlink Silicon Packaging Engineering Intern, Materials & Processing Engineering Intern with Boeing Research & Technology (BR & T) on the 787 Fuselage Production Team, Captain and Mechanical Lead of MIT\'s Solar Electric Vehicle Team, and an Undergraduate Researcher with MIT Sea Grant Laboratory working to develop a seal whisker inspired underwater flow detection sensor.
