About Adrienne Guyton

I am a hard working student aspiring to earn a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics at Purdue University. I spend the majority of my time studying and engaging in extracurriculars, such as the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), that focus on setting up minority students in STEM majors for success academically and professionally while also giving back to the community and inspiring today’s youth to explore STEM activities and opportunities. I have a huge interest in and love for healthcare which was sparked by the many nurses and healthcare professionals in my family. This passion has guided me to have experiences working as an Edison Engineering Development Program Intern at GE Healthcare, where I served as a mechanical engineer on the Rio cooling team in the Magnetic Resonance Modality after my 1st year of college, and landing an internship/job shadow opportunity at Zimmer Biomet my senior year of high school. As I’ve continued my academic career at Purdue I’ve gained quite a bit of experience in teaching and tutoring through my various roles in the Minority Engineering Program. While my undergraduate career is coming to a close I’m looking for roles in a healthcare related industry.
