I am a software developer engineer with a passion for writing clean, usable, and accessible code that improves the lives of as many people as possible. With previous history in the fields of psychology and psychometry, I bring pattern and data analysis as well as knowledge and empathy around human behavior to add to full stack programming skills. When not writing code, I enjoy stage acting, singing complicated harmonies, being in nature, making balloon animals, snuggling with our giant house cats, and listening to my spouse play giant saxophones.

   Founded a company to build tools that help make educators\' jobs easier, employing my expertise from 16+ years as a school psychologist in various school settings as well as deep personal understanding of flow and pain points in the educational system- Full-stack development in Javascript, Typescript, React, Claude.ai, AWS- Designed and developed a report writing tool that can take special education evaluation information such as student demographics, test scores, teacher/parent feedback as input and then output an evaluation report summarizing the results to be shared with a wide audience including parents, teachers, doctors, attorneys, etc- Designed and developed a system for case managers to track open special education evaluations and their progress and timeline management across multiple school sites (in progress)- Maintained up to date knowledge about special education processes, legal timelines, state and federal laws, and FERPA/confidentiality.
