ABOUT ADRIENNE DAVIS
As a Regional Epidemiologist at SC DHEC, I contribute to the prevention and control of infectious diseases in South Carolina, using data-driven and analytical methods. I collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources, such as laboratory and clinical findings, to determine the location and severity of outbreaks, and to monitor the effectiveness of interventions and control procedures.I also provide training, technical assistance, and consultative services to local health departments, healthcare facilities, and community partners regarding epidemiology and disease control. I collaborate with the CDC Foundation and other stakeholders to enhance public health surveillance and response capacity. I have a Master of Public Health from Liberty University and a Bachelor\'s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of South Carolina Upstate. I recently received my Master of Healthcare Administration degree. I am a certified phlebotomy technician and a SC notary. I am motivated by the goal of improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities in my region.
