I am a Mechatronic Engineer with over 15 years of experience in electrical controls, automation, and large-scale material-handling systems. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across engineering, field commissioning, and leadership roles—supporting major projects for Amazon, FedEx, UPS, BHS, Michelin, and others across North America, Mexico and South America with DHL projects, OXXOs, as well Amazons. In my current role as Applications Engineering Manager at Diversified Automation, I lead a team responsible for electrical controls estimating, hardware architecture, device selection, load calculations, and proposal support for small, medium, and large conveyor-based systems. I focus on accuracy, clarity, and process improvement so our internal customers such as Sales, Hardware, Controls, and Project Management—can move with confidence and meet aggressive bids turnarounds and project schedules.I bring deep hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider), VFDs, HMI/SCADA, MDR technologies, conveyor accumulation systems, industrial networks, scanners (Cognex/Datalogic/Sick), and UL/NEC electrical requirements. I’ve designed, estimated, and commissioned systems using Hytrol, Interroll, Itoh Denki, AmbaFlex, Qimarox, Intralox, MHS, and many others.What drives me is problem-solving, ownership, and improving the way teams work.    Electrical, hardware and controls estimating engineer responsible for defining electrical controls hardware and control architectures (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider), for small, medium, and large-scale material handling systems. Based on mechanical layouts and motor manifests of material handling systems define electrical controls hardware to operate these systems per customer specifications and operational requirements. These are conveyor systems and/or related equipment used in the Material Handling Industry (Freight/Parcel, Baggage Handling, Warehouse Distribution, Manufacturing, e-commerce). Developing material lists and pre-engineering design to estimate the hardware and electrical installation, oriented on each customer specifications. Experience working with Amazon(TNS, SSD, Mechlite, ADTA, ACBSC, ETC), UPS (Expansions, NoF, ACB, Greenfield, brownfield), FX (Ground, Express) specs, as well providing solutions for Scanner tunnels, Dimensioners, RFID scanners, CCTVs systems, as well developing tools for our constant evolution on each project, since we are responsible to offer solutions for the new requirements that each customer has on their specs working in conjunction with other departments to capture all the details.
