ABOUT ADRIAN NGUYEN
I am an aspiring physician dedicated to culturally competent, patient-centered care, particularly for underserved, immigrant, and refugee communities. My commitment has been shaped by founding TRUE at UT Austin, where I witnessed how cultural stigma, language barriers, and social determinants of health can obstruct care. In addition, my neuroscience research on transcranial infrared laser stimulation has deepened my appreciation for the intersection of science and medicine and the role of research in advancing patient care.
