About Adrian Jimenez

I\'m a recent graduate from University of San Diego. I am interested in event marketing, digital marketing, and brand management in the sports or sports apparel industry. I was a part of the American Marketing Association USD Chapter for 3 years, I started as a member my first year as a sophomore. In my second year, I became Director of Operations, where I handled event registration and background tasks for a total of 26 events. In the 20••••24 academic year, I became Chapter President of the organization where I continued to connect students to professionals and oversee all operations to host events to expand students\' knowledge in the marketing world through overseeing and managing the organization. In my years at USD, I’ve taken marketing classes that taught me different skills and knowledge about brand management, advertising campaigns, website development, SEO, Google Ads, Social media, MailChimp, R Studio, Graphic Design etc. I\'ve had opportunities to gain real experience in event marketing through a marketing course on doing and hosting a fashion show on campus in collaboration with Simon Fashion Valley Mall as well as helping build up a start-up brand with digital marketing.My previous work experience includes: In 2019, I became a Pool lifeguard, where working under pressure and making sure everyone is safe in the pool is a top priority. In the summer of 2022, I was a Marketing intern at The Conrad for the La Jolla Music Society where I provided social media content ideas and advertised upcoming shows for a 4-week event campaign. In the 2022 academic year, I served as a Commuter Assistant at USD, where I worked and checking-in with First-year students and providing them with resources on how to adapt to campus. In the current 2023 academic year, I was a Career Readiness Program Intern, where I worked with data through Salesforce and recorded attendance from campus events for students to get points needed for graduation. as well as helping with any event operation for Career Readiness Events on campus.I was competitive swimmer for over 10 years so athletics is a huge part of my life and inspiration of sportswear and sports marketing. Through staying active outside of swimming, I\'m passionate about streetwear and sports
