ABOUT ADRIANO MENCARINI

With a background in Electronic Engineering, I began my career path at Indesit Company as a Software Engineer. Within the company I began my path of managerial growth, which led me to create a transversal electronic design theme with the aim of creating a common design platform for all the business units, and then directing, in addition to the electronics department, the innovation department, going on to develop product concepts with a 5-year vision, and then going on to take charge of a business unit to launch new products to add to the traditional portfolio. During this period I had the opportunity to work with foreign teams and direct some of them, in China, UK, Turkey and France. After this experience I moved to the Computer Vision sector to head a cross technical department in Italy and Germany, developing a new range of products and especially having a significant experience with a private equity fund, participating in the acquisitions of 2 companies and the exit phase. Later, as technical director, I joined a U.S. Bank Automation group with the goal of reorganizing the development team and developing a new product platform, a goal achieved after about three years of work. I am currently in charge of R&D within an Electromedical company owned by a private equity with the aim of reorganizing the work team, re-launching current products and expanding the product portfolio Over the years I have been involved in technical organizations, leading teams from different countries and cultures, dealing with new product development and process optimization. I have a strong interest in all things innovative and digital, and I believe I have developed an aptitude for change management.
