Adrianne Patrick has served as Executive Director of Main Street Wadsworth since May 2017, embracing a unique opportunity to make an impact and a positive difference by serving her community and adding value to her city of Wadsworth, Ohio as an economic development professional, grant writer, and community leader. Adrianne moved to Wadsworth, Ohio in 2014 to be near family and joined Main Street Wadsworth as a volunteer Board Member shortly thereafter. As Main Street Wadsworth’s first Chair of the Design Team, she loved working with her group to draft the downtown’s historic design guidelines and bring the vision of an iconic downtown clock to life. Since then, she has led efforts to add downtown Wadsworth to the National Register of Historic Places, support 40 new small businesses and 100% downtown storefront occupancy in December 2022, adding over 200 new downtown jobs, 11 public art murals, over 150 free community events, the coordination of in grants resulting in over 80 historic building renovation and beautification projects, collaborating with the City of Wadsworth to receive a grant for a downtown park, and securing statewide awards for her organization, including Ohio Magazine\'s Best Hometown Award 20••••22, Heritage Ohio\'s Volunteer of the Year, Committee Project of the Year, Young Preservationist of the Year, and Spirit of Main Street Award. Adrianne received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and European Area Studies from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and the Miami University Dolibois European Center (MUDEC) in Luxembourg. She received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from The University of Akron School of Law. She is an actively licensed attorney in the State of Ohio. As an Acting Judge for the Wadsworth Municipal Court, Adrianne was the first female judge to take the bench in Wadsworth history. Following law school bar exam passage, Adrianne served as a Contract Negotiator for The Department of Defense at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and as an Attorney with the intellectual property law firm of Martin & Ferraro, LLP. Adrianne has loved serving as full-time staff for Main Street Wadsworth, combining her passions for making a difference, creating joyful experiences, historical architecture, creative problem-solving, networking, serving people, preserving and celebrating American history, and enhancing quality of life for her community.
