About Adrianna Wright

A consummate networker and promoter, I am a high-energy extrovert who excels at connecting with people and generating ideas. With a decade of experience as a publicist in the book publishing industry, I have evaluated book proposals, coached authors on how to develop a strong online presence, and brainstormed branding and promotional strategies for numerous authors and books. I have also created countless press kits and cultivated a wide range of contacts across various media. As a communications professional, I have many years of writing experience, whether it be press releases, web copy or magazine articles. Similarly, I am an experienced editor who relishes helping others organize their thoughts and sharpen their writing. To keep things interesting, I\'ve also had a couple of brief stints in sales. Whether it was recommending a bottle of wine or selecting just the right book(s), I thoughtfully engaged with customers and helped them find what they needed (and often more than they expected). Presently I am a digital skills instructor with Literacy Pittsburgh, the top provider of adult education in the state. I teach a variety of computer skills ranging from computer basics to Microsoft Office program certification prep classes. I also coach individuals during open lab time. I love seeing my students grow and achieve their goals. I also enjoy creating engaging curriculum and collaborating with members of the digital literacy team and the rest of the organization. Additionally, I have also gained valuable experience teaching English as a Foreign language and received training in the Color Vowel Chart. On a more personal note, I am a creative and fun-loving person with plenty of interests, including cooking, reading, and riding horses (though not all at the same time).
