In my role as a Staff Engineer, I support the technical evolution and regional expansion of Intuit’s flagship brands across the EMEA region. I am heavily involved in transitioning our digital presence from a UK-centric model to a robust, multi-national operation, ensuring we effectively power prosperity for small businesses and mid-market customers at scale.Key Technical Contributions & Impact- Regional Technical Transition & Prioritisation: Contributed to the technical shift from a UK-only model to a comprehensive EMEA regional structure. This involved applying an analytical mindset to regional data, helping the team identify high-impact markets and navigate the architectural complexities of supporting multiple countries- QuickBooks Brand & In-Product Evolution: Served as a key technical contributor to the launch of the new QuickBooks brand across EMEA; this project integrated generative AI workflows and modernised systems for the AI era. My work here involves optimising both marketing websites and core in-product user journeys to drive conversion and engagement- Internal AI Tooling & Data Insights: Develop internal marketing tools that utilise current AI workflows to highlight critical data points and hidden growth opportunities. By surfacing these insights, I help the business more effectively prioritise strategic initiatives and regional investments- Mailchimp Growth & Marketing Optimisation: Contribute to the performance strategy for Mailchimp within its largest global market (EMEA). I drive technical optimisations on marketing websites to improve conversion rates and streamline acquisition- Technical Integrity & Cohesion: Work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between initial customer acquisition and user engagement, ensuring a high standard of technical consistency across all digital touchpoints.
