   In cities around the world, Regional Contacts help local Burners connect with each other, while bringing Burning Man principles and culture into their local communities through events and activities, year-round. As an RC representing the San Francisco South Bay, my responsibilities include-Serving as a Board Member for South Bay Burners, a registered 501c3 nonprofit, and assist in overseeing the organization\'s finances, events, community involvement, and other activities-Planning, facilitating, or managing community events, both physically and virtually-Representing South Bay Burners and the Burning Man Project at local community events-Supporting local artists, theme camps, and other parties in appropriately hosting Burning Man sanctioned events-Supporting local artists and theme camps in fundraising and recruitment endeavors-Continually look for ways to connect Burning Man culture with local communities to promote the global, cultural movement.
