About Adrian N. Carver
Adrian N. Carver is a recognized social impact practitioner, strategist, and management consultant with a record of winning progress for his clients and communities at local and national levels. His wide-ranging knowledge and expertise are foundational to his effective leadership in public policy, government relations, organizational management, special projects, public relations, marketing, and communications. A multi-generational New Mexican, he grew up on the outskirts of Albuquerque\'s International District, where he developed a passion for investigating the details and mechanics of complex built and social ecosystems, which makes sense given his dad is a homebuilder and his mom a social justice advocate. An AmeriCorps Alumni, he is deeply committed to public service, serving on various nonprofit boards, including as president of the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association, the New Mexico Alliance for School-Based Health Care, and the New Mexico Green Chamber of Commerce. Governor Susana Martinez recognized him for his service with the Commission on Community Volunteerism\'s National Service Alumni Award in 2011. Adrian remains among the youngest people to be recognized as one of New Mexico\'s Top 40 Under Forty business professionals by Albuquerque Business First in 2013.Recently, Adrian held the roles of Senior Program Manager at New Mexico State University and Marketing Director at The Paper. As the Executive Director at Equality New Mexico, he successfully led coalition-based and direct lobbying efforts, resulting in a major expansion of civil rights law in the state. Adrian studied Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico.Today, Adrian is focused on: – eliminating barriers to full, fair participation in society – especially for those least served and most marginalized by its structures; – (re)Building systems to stand the test of time. and that work properly; – demonstrating integrity through a lifetime of dedication to taking action; – solving big problems with big solutions.
