ABOUT ADRIANA R.
grew up in Costa Rica and studied Industrial Design in Italy. My career has taken me across Latin America, Europe and the USA working in a series of roles like industrial, interaction, UX, and product design. I spent the beginning of my career designing sustainable products and smart meters at a design consultancy in Torino, Italy. I lived in New York City for 11 years where I spent the beginning designing at agencies working high profile products like Nike+ Running for Nike. I spent 5 years at Spotify working in the early days of the Creator team. I finally spent 2.5 years at Instagram leading design for the Equity team.Currently, I live in Nashville and I\'m head of the Community Lab at New_ Public, where we\'re taking a critical eye on digital public spaces in hopes of making them healthier and more pluralistic to improve democracy.I am also a passionate about making pottery, cheese, sustainability and diversity.
