ABOUT ADRIANA MORONTA

I am originally from Venezuela, a beautiful country in South America. In October 2018, I decided to start my journey as an Au Pair in the United States. During my time there, I made the most of the opportunity and significantly improved my English. Later, in September 2020, I chose to extend my stay and become a full-time student. I strongly believe that education and hard work are key to success, which is why I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree for the third time, but this time in a foreign country. I enrolled at Westchester Community College and earned an Associate\'s degree in Business Management.However, I was not content to stop there. Being an international student, affording education was a challenge. Nevertheless, I was determined to continue my journey and applied for multiple scholarships. As a result, I was selected as one of the 20 Spectrum Scholars and awarded a scholarship. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry and I am set to graduate in May 2024.I am proud to have accomplished two internships before completing my graduation. During my first internship at CohnReznick, I displayed exceptional skills in auditing, and in my second internship, I took on the role of a project manager at Spectrum, where I delivered outstanding results.I enjoy pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and I have found that unfamiliar situations have helped me develop strong critical thinking skills. My ultimate goal is to use my creativity, enthusiasm, and experience to contribute value to a business.
