ABOUT ADRIANA MEZA
Hi, I’m Adriana! I am a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major at UC Santa Cruz with a passion for both science and creativity. Currently, I’m diving deep into bioinformatics research affiliated with Dr. Olena Vaske\'s lab, where I’m helping to identify genetic markers for pediatric cancers. I’m particularly focused on NRAS and BRAF mutations, and how they impact treatment strategies. I’ve also spent time investigating mutations in melanoma at the germline level to uncover potential new pathways for therapy.When I\'m not immersed in data, I love attending concerts, getting creative with art, and exploring the outdoors. I plan on achieving my MD/PhD in the future and am especially interested in translating cutting-edge research into real-world therapies.
