ABOUT ADRIANA L. SCOTT
As the founder of Grassroots Dispute Resolution, I assist individuals, organizations, and communities to get to the root of their disputes and find mutually beneficial solutions. I have successfully mediated complex cases involving family, workplace, and neighborhood conflicts, using a variety of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques. I also deliver tailored trainings to organizations and public groups on topics such as effective communication, the revised golden rule, and conflict management. In addition to running my own ADR practice, I work as a paralegal at Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP, a leading litigation firm in San Francisco. I support the attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing cases. I leverage my mediation skills and experience to help resolve disputes and facilitate negotiations among parties. I hold an MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a BS in Criminal Justice and Mediation from Florida A&M University. I am passionate about helping the black community overcome their challenges and achieve their goals through collaborative and constructive approaches to conflict management.
