Working within the [UK] Engineered Systems Manufacturing Unit (ESMU), as a member of the Design team with responsibility for the design, estimating and project management of all bespoke engineered packaged systems at ESMU.• Design and estimating of (but not limited to) heat exchanger, pump or pressure reducing packaged systems from the original enquiry/specification through to delivery on time within budget, this includes; part setup, Bill of Material (BoM) and assisting drawing office, planning and production• Sizing and selection of Spirax and external products communicating with suppliers where necessary for both internal and external component sourcing• System setup for manufacturing, from order acceptance through to despatch including liaison with the CAD Design Engineer(s) for detailed customer acceptance and manufacturing drawings• Technical and commercial contract management with UK-based and overseas associated/operating companies• Complying with legislation such as CDM and PER, plus compliance with health & safety requirements

An experienced manufacturing and process Engineer with BSc (Hons), and Incorporated Engineer (IEng) MIET registration and membership. I have gained significant experience in the Manufacturing Industry, as well as in sales and service/support roles with valves and process control hardware for steam and other industrial process fluids, since 2004. Apprenticeship trained, with a background in Machining; Manufacture/Assembly; Quality Inspection & Calibration; as well as Technical Sales & Product Support - including External Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Customer (B2C) sales. Also attained CMI level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership with FCMgr MCMI registration.Interests in Metallurgy, Power Generation, Energy and Environmental Sustainability Management.
