ABOUT ADRIAN TUCK

I have worked in the health and social care sector for the previous 18 years starting as a support worker. I have been in management positions for the past 13 years.I have a very determined attitude and experience with working with complex individuals that may challenge along with excellent relationships with local authorities, commissioners and CQC.During my 13 years working in management roles I have supported and/or led in 14 CQC Inspections with no areas of \"Requires Improvement\" identified.When moving to Priory Group in 2019 this provided myself with the opportunity to evidence how I can support a service to improve with St Michaels being rated \"Requires Improvement\" in all areas. The service was inspected within 4 months of my tenure starting and we managed to bring the service up to \"Good\" in all areas within that period of time. This has been further sustained and maintained following a reactive inspection 2021 and sets the service in an excellent position with the sustained improvements ongoing to achieve areas of Outstanding at the next inspection.Along with managing St Michaels I am also a trained PROACT-SKIPr-UK Instructor and have led over 50 courses in the last 5 years and its with this ethos that The Lodden School have imbedded into their training that I am able to deliver this and personalise it for the staff that work at St Michaels and support the local region in utilising the benefits of this excellent training and use positive examples of approach and outcomes achieved at St Michaels as examples they can all learn from.
