I am the Geophysicist supporting ongoing Base Pad development at ConocoPhillips’ bpd Surmont SAGD asset in the Alberta oilsands. I leverage reservoir surveillance data (4D seismic, OBS well, InSAR) to influence well optimizations and redrill/redev opportunities. I have championed novel subsurface concepts to greatly increase the productivity of new Brownfield wells and unlock additional resources. I have introduced a new approach for dynamically estimating recoverable volumes, leading to improved forecasting and ultimately maximizing asset ROIC. I serve as the Subsurface Containment Assurance (SCA) Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Surmont, working with an integrated team to ensure ConocoPhillips Canada meets Corporate and Regulator standards for safe SAGD operations.
