    Astrobotics

Aug 2024 — Present · Blacksburg, VA, US

As a member of the Astrobotics Electrical Subteam, I contributed to the design and development of a competition-ready autonomous/teleop robot for NASA’s 2025 Lunabotics Challenge. My work focused on high-reliability PCB design using KiCad, with mixed SMD/THT component integration optimized for harsh lunar-like environments. I led fabrication efforts, implemented robust testing protocols, and collaborated across mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration. Now serving as Electrical Subteam Lead, I’m committed to fostering a hands-on, growth-oriented environment for new members, mirroring the mentorship and technical exposure that shaped my own experience. I aim to expand our capabilities in power system design with modular attachment capabilities, sensor integration, technical documentation, and cross-subteam communication for peak efficiency. This role allows me to refine my leadership, deepen my understanding of robotics systems, and drive innovation in real-world engineering challenges.
