I develop, monitor, and ensure implementation of Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) programs for FTC staff and facilities that are required by regulatory and FTC standards, or in response to operational or regulatory changes. I plan, schedule, and participate in the comprehensive annual review of SOH; participate in developing corrective action plans and work with various FTC offices to close identify deficiencies. I also serve as an alternate point of contact for SOH issues with various federal, state, and local regulatory agencies including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Federal Programs Office. Provide regular status reports on SOH program activities to ASO and OED management. Consistently develop, implement, and provide required SOH training for FTC personnel. I Investigate and document reports of hazardous conditions, accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses at the FTC; maintaining OSHA 300 logs. I serve as a technical resource on all SOH issues. I review indoor air quality (IAQ) testing conducted at FTC locations. I participate in review of new and proposed facility renovation activities to ensure appropriate SOH standards and plans are in place. Furthermore, I collaborate in completing the annual report in the FTC Health & Safety Program to the US Department of Labor; collaborate in completing the annual report to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) on FTC injury data.Also at FTC, I participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Emergency Preparedness program for all FTC facilities (Headquarters (HQ), DC area, and Regional Offices). I maintain and ensure timely updates to the FTC Occupant Emergency Plans (OEPs) to meet regulatory and operational requirements. Continuing, I participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Continuity of Operations (COOP) program for the FTC as required by Federal Continuity Directive 1 (FCD 1); providing regular updates to ASO and OED management.
