About Adrian Pirraglia

I improve processes, quality, and reliability. Strong data driven analytics and Lean skills, combined with proven project management and team building abilities, enable me to deliver across production, environment, safety, and customer goals. I enjoy making improvements and seeing the numbers improve, and presenting the estimated savings achieved to customers. I put statistical models and systems in place that achieve results. Through the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) approach and Lean Six Sigma tools, I have increased efficiencies and reduced times, waste, and costs. Examples of annual savings achieved include $500K on process improvement projects,$150K by revamping quality test standards and measurement,$100K with dashboards and maintenance planning, and $250K with a quarterly goal-setting initiative. My strengths are my technical and my people skills. I work to understand the skill, tool, and mind set of each individual, enabling them to use their strengths and providing the training and coaching for them to reach their potential. This has allowed me to achieve cohesive, motivated, and productive teams. My best reward is when people come to me for advice, and let me know that I have helped their career and pushed them forward through any blocks. When people are motivated and see progress, the production, quality, and safety numbers will speak for themselves. A skilled presenter, I am able to get the message across to the team and to customers. I have eight years’ experience making improvements in varied industries and leading cross-functional project teams to on-time, on-budget results. My education includes Engineering degrees with minor in Business and Economics, and extensive additional training and coursework in Lean and Six Sigma. A passion is training others in these Lean/Six Sigma areas. My focus always: excellence and achievement.
